Black Sea Tours

The longest and most rewarding route on the strait: under both bridges and out through the northern gate into the open blue of the Black Sea.

What is the route of a Black Sea yacht tour?

The tour covers the whole strait: from your pier past the mansions and fortresses, beyond the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and into the quiet northern reach. You pass fishing villages like Poyrazköy and Anadolu Feneri, nose out into the Black Sea when the weather allows and anchor in a cove for a break. The standard duration is 4 to 6 hours.

The quiet north of the strait

Past the second bridge the traffic thins, the shores turn green and the strait finds its old voice. This is the most restful stretch of any tour: the engine hums lower, the tea is refreshed, the scenery slows down. You leave the city without ever leaving it.

Fishing villages and the lighthouse

The route takes in the Beykoz hills, Poyrazköy bay and the lighthouse where the strait meets the sea. We can plan a swim stop off Poyrazköy or a fish focused table on the way back, whichever suits your day.

Which yacht for this route?

Speed and comfort matter on the long route: İkiyaka Yat at 28 knots shortens the day, İkiyaka Yat 4 keeps larger groups comfortable. Our captains judge the Black Sea exit on the day's conditions, and safety always outranks the route.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the Black Sea tour?

The full strait and the Black Sea cape need at least 4 hours. The relaxed plan with swim and meal breaks is 6 hours.

Is the sea rough?

The strait itself is sheltered. We only nose into the open sea in suitable weather and the captain's call is final.

How is dining planned on this tour?

The favourite plan is a late lunch on the way back. Fish based menus are the classic of this route.
