What does a yacht proposal package include?
The standard package covers deck decoration, flowers, candles, music, welcome treats and a banner or lit 'Will you marry me' sign. Add a hidden photographer, video, cold spark effects, cake and dinner as you wish. The moment itself is timed to the minute around sunset or the bridge lights.
How the surprise is protected
Every message about the proposal stays strictly between us and you. Your partner gets a cover story: an ordinary Bosphorus cruise. The photographer acts like a guest and the decorated area stays hidden until the moment. Not one of our surprises has ever been found out early.
The favourite moment: sunset and the bridge lights
Two classics compete for the moment itself. One is the deck turning orange as the sun drops behind the European side. The other is holding position right before the bridge light show after dark. Our captain angles the yacht perfectly and your backdrop is ready.
After the yes
The cruise does not end at the answer. Champagne is poured, cake is cut, the shoot continues, and if you wish, the families board from a second pier as one more surprise. For couples who want to turn the night into dinner, the menu is ready and waiting.

How far ahead should a proposal be planned?
One to two weeks is ideal for decoration and photography. In a pinch we can manage with 2 days notice.
Can we charter just for two?
Of course. Most proposals are for two and İkiyaka Yat is made for it. The yacht sails for you alone.
When do we get the photos?
A selection lands on your phone the same night, the full album follows digitally within days.
