Swimming Tours

No beach crowds, no fight for sunbeds. Just an anchored yacht, clean water and a cove of your own.

Where do swimming tours go in Istanbul?

Depending on season and wind we use two main routes: the coves around the Princes' Islands and the Poyrazköy line at the north of the Bosphorus. On both, the yacht anchors in calm clean water and you climb down the ladder straight into the sea. Life jackets, towels and water toys are on board. Tours usually run 4 to 6 hours.

Safety continues in the water

During every swim stop at least one crew member stays on watch. Children get properly sized life jackets and the ladder and platform are easy at any age. We never anchor where there is current.

How the day flows

Breakfast plates open on the morning sail out, and the first swim comes as you reach the cove. A light lunch is set on deck at noon, followed by a second swim and time in the sun. Tea and fruit ease you back toward the city.

Hen parties and groups of friends

The swimming tour is the summer favourite of hen parties and birthday groups. Plug your own playlist into the sound system, and ask us for decoration and cake. İkiyaka Yat suits up to 12 guests, İkiyaka Yat 4 takes larger groups of up to 24.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the water clean?

We only stop in coves known to be clean, led by the Islands and the Poyrazköy line.

Can non swimmers join?

Of course. Life jackets come in every size and the platform makes the water easy to enter. Sunbathing on deck is a fine plan too.

When is the season?

The sea suits swimming from mid May to early October. Book early for July and August weekends.
